Thought of the day:: Im REALLY not supposed to do this but i jus couldnt resist........
GOBBLING UP all my sour gummies!!! but its STARBURST sour gummi worms!! i cant keep my hands off them!!!!hmmmm... im going crazy... i jus finished another lab report and its about attribution error. one type of attribution error is actor-observer bias. i can see all the question marks on ur head already.. but let this first year psyc student giv u some explanation OKIE?? good... well, actor-observer bias, defined as "the tendancy to make personal attributions to explain the behaviour of others, but use situational attributions to explain our own behaviour" SO.... wat does that complicated sentence ACTUALLY means... take an example... say u were give 2 questionnaires, one to rate urself on 20 polar traits (or its opposite) or situational responses (ie "depending on situation") eg... 1. lively boring depending on situation 2. easily angered not easily angered depending on situation 3. happy sad depending on situation 4. humorous monotoned depending on situation and u are supposed to circle which decribes u for one questionnaire and another one which u think the characteristics that, say, Victoria Beckham will have. the number of "depending on situation" were then added up and the average is calculated (of all the results collected from other students lahz...) results show that... people tend to score more (more number of "depending on situation') when they rate themselves as compared to rating Victoria Beckham. coz... for ourselves, we tend to think... "hmmm... i would only be easilt angered or not depending on *dot dot dot*. but when we rate Victoria beckham, we tend to judge only by how we viewed Victoria Beckham lahz... so... like tt lor... hmmmm i know not everybody's going to understand lahz... i sometimes also end up blur blur one... but... i got my lab report on this experiment done liaoz!! hahaha turn up tomolo..... hmmmm... nothing much happened to me these fews dayz.... too much work to do and examz are coming!!! *scared* so... till my nex report... see yah all... meanwhile..
