Its been awhile since i've blogged.. and have i got LOAADDS to talk about!!
The Surprise This was like so surreal!! It was last thursday night. I was out with my sis and my 3 cousins from the states. Then Kelvin smsed me if i was sending Sabrina off. Honestly i didnt know she was leaving that soon. SO anyway, it was SO last min, and i couldnt just dump my cousins and go so had to say no to that.. Later on, Derek smsed me asked me to go for supper. I said i had plans which i did! wid my 2 bros Josh and Tim. And they were waiting for me to be done with my cousins so that i could meet em and we go out. So again, i told Derek i had plans. He was like " simi plans??" and was like "come out la.. my treat".. Dude..we can go another time? ur treat?? hahaha but yea.. i think he must have been gettin a lil pissed tryin to drag me out but with no success. Then.. he later smsed me again and said that he has somethings to pass to me. So, i said ok.. but.. i asked my sis to meet him on my behalf. And i asked him if he could meet my sis.. he went..."o...K lah" hahaha.. shot down again! sorry man!! so finally.. i go meet my bros.. thinkin we're goin for a boys night out. Just us 3..(sorry jeremy.. he was bookin into camp tt night.. hehehe) anyway.. initial plan was to meet them at Dhoby Ghaut mrt, which later on Tim called and said change of plans his FRIEND coming to pick us up from Parklane. Ok.. tt sounded fine by me. So, was at e taxi stand outside Parklane waiting for TIMS FRIEND to come pick us up. and while talkin, Josh was like.. when is amy coming back?? i just gave e usual "jan 28th" answer. then tim went like, "i think you will like my friend". Thing is i wanted to call amy as well and let her know where i was headed to and what i was up to. Kept callin her Aussie cell number but just didnt get through. Josh went like.. "aiya.. no need to tell her lah..".. then.. i was trying to call again........AND THEN.. for a moment Josh & Tim's eyes fixed on something on the road. I was facing them.. so my back to the road.. i turned around and saw this SILVER TOYOTA CELICA. Then i took a look at the number plate.. and was thinkin.. "hmmmmm thats familiar....". before i know it i saw AMY!!!!!! But wait a minute...looks like amy.. walks like amy.. smiles like amy.. couldnt tell whether it smells like amy yet.. haha.. but anyway.. talk abt state of SHOCK.. that was IT.. just the day before, i was talkin to her and askin if she is up to something like that... she did mention she had a surprise.. but i had a gut feelin she was coming back. and, i asked her if that was it.. she said no.. then went on like.. "aiyah.. surprise is somebody supposed to pass u some stuff la.. just whether the delivery man free or not".. all this was runnin thru my head as i was lookin right at her.. i was like rooted in my position. and i looked over to my bros.. there they were smiling... THEY WERE IN ON IT! at e last minute la.. Derek contacted them and told them whats happening and they decided to put their plans aside for the night just to see my reaction. Josh said.. "it was good la.. just seeing u happy like that".. man.. this is special mention for Josh and Tim.. i appreciate u guys putting your plans aside like that. means alot to me.. and dont worry.. we'll go soon! *winks* so.. there.. i was.. she takes me into e car.. still in a state of shock.. goin to meet Derek, Kelvin, Vania & Sulin. im still sitting there bLUR.. but well.. was pretty much in shock even over supper wid Derek & co. and.. i found out.. pretty much all e youth knew abt amy coming back, my sis knew.. hehe.. well done guys! and to think we had an ARGUMENT abt the change of dates..i wanted her to come back earlier than Jan 28th. and i found out.. that was ALL PART OF THE PLAN.. man.. talk abt DETAILED PLANNING and EXCELLENT EXECUTION! hehehe.. and to the youth like Derek, Kelvin, Deb, my other bro Jeremy.etc.. u guys did a gd job.. hehehe Baby, thanks for this Christmas gift! it is peRrRRffFFeEeeCCcTOoo!! hehe*muackz* The Sharing I had an awesome opportunity on Dec 30th to share at the youth's final meeting for the year which was more like a party sorta thing. Was good to have something other than the usual procedure. But well, really am thankful to God for the opening the door of opportunity to share HIS word to my fellow youth. Was pretty darn nervous. But it went fine. Just shared a lil on thanksgiving and reflection and about moving to a higher level for God in our Jerusalems, Judeas and Samarias for His glory in 2006. hmmmm...okok.. wont start sharing here.. hehehe.. but well.. yea..truly am thankful to HIM for this awesome opportunity! The Special Number This was the FIRST time i decided to do a special number for a service. Shared the song "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. oh yea.. abt this, this was another reason why i had a gut feeling amy was coming back earlier! She was like.. DO IT! DO IT! DO ITTTT!!!!! and she searched for the backing track just for me.. hehe.. thanks baby! *muackz* anyway, i wont say it went entirely well. Throughout the week was practising it over and over and could hit the high notes. Come that day, i had a sore throat.. okok.. not wallowing in self pity. but its alright.. could hit it.. but just that it was much of a strain than usual. But thank God there was some good feedback. =) All in all that was 2005!! hehe.. wanna take this opportunity, though a little late, to wish everyone and anyone who comes across this the very best in 2006. i pray... in good times, remember your Maker, in bad times, find refuge in your Strong Tower, in tiring times, find rest in His Everlasting Arms, in lost times, find guidance from The Good Shepherd, and if you dont know the answer to everything you need, i pray 2006 is going to be the year of salvation through Christ Jesus and HIM ALONE.
