SO YAY!!!
2 pieces of good news... wait... make it THREE!! okie.. they are not really good news GOOD NEWS... the really really GOOD NEWS is YET to come.. but i have faith in BIG DADDY!! okie... first up!! TAADDAAA!!! the MUSICAL script is out!! hot and crispy from the printer!! WAHAHA MY printer that is... =P and that includes Pastor's copy!! yes, the one that I was supposed to hand to Pastor, for his viewing, for his digestion and for his permission and finally APPROVAL!! produced by Sashi, Kelvin and me, Co-produced by Amos, Clement and Gideon, this baby is our hard work!! I passed it to Pastor on tuesday before we had our music practice... took some time to knock on the door before i get an answer.. coz it was WAY past church office hours. but thank God there's was still someone else... as with Pastor's hearing.. i doubt he can hear me knockin on the door!! it felt like Doom's day!! hahaha I took a DEEEEEP breathe and said a little prayer before I step into Pastor's office. told him abt the idea... handed him the script... he read thru... hahaha... the cast name we gave was COOPER, CHRIS, JONATHAN, KEIRA and NATALIE... the first thing he said when he saw those names was.... "*Eyes closing and frowning* maybe we can use more local names?? i mean... COOPER??? " then he frowned even more. hehehe PASTOR!! names can change!! anywayz, yeah.. then he said to give him sometime to digest and he will get back to me on friday (youth service) and off i went *fingers crossed* then came that faithful friday.. i was praying like mad thruout the week .. of coz hoping things will work out.. however, also commiting it into God's hand... and asking for His favour... however, if it wasnt His will.. so shall it be... so came friday when pastor was toking abt the pipeline of starting youth cell and yada yada yada... i was there tinking whether or not he will annouce anything regarding the musical... and HE DID!! although he was like saying he's still in the process of digesting. and looks like it's sorta a go ahead!! at least he's open to the idea!!! YAY!! i tot he will throw the script into the dustbin... =P no lah.. he aint tt bad hahaha SO YAY!!! (again) so anywayz.. abt this musical... since it's projected for next easter... i shant tell u ANYTHING abt it!! (okie, cept for the cast names since i already wrote it up there). even if its projected any time sooner, i'm still not going to tell u anything!! come watch!! that is if it's produced lah... *fingers crossed!!* HEEEE =) secondly.... me and Kelvin first decided on the song for a dance item and started choreographing last sat but yet to tell Pastor about out idea YET... wanted to tell him when i headed down to church earlier.. but as i drove in to the church carpark.. i saw his car came out... with him inside... WAT GREAT TIMING.... anywayz... later on the day me and Kel got down to serious choreographing and we completed 4 sets of 8! (in like 2hours??) like YAY!! hahahaha and at least 6 more to go.. meeting him again tomolo... good thing he's having his holidays!! YAY!! so yah.. the good news is.. although i couldnt ask Pastor on the day itself... i caught him after sunday's service and asked him... and guess wat!! i mean.. my pastor and agreeing with a dance item is like... water and oil..?? they dun mix... u get the idea? yah.. BUT!!! as i was waiting for pastor to be freed from the person who got first to him, i was praying and praying... and nervour like shit!! so anywayz... i asked him whether the youth can do A DANCE ITEM... i mean... DANCE ITEM... and he was open to it!! he didnt show any disgust or wat... u know?!?! i mean.. YAY!! so he was like.. "ok ok " and just simply nodding his head!! i almost wanted to ask... "Pastor, u okie?" or "Pastor, u sure u know wat exactly i'm toking about? i mean.. u understand wat's a dance item?? and i mean... u are agreeing with it?? *puzzled*" BUT... who cares!! since he already nod his head!! YAY!! and so i past him the CD to listen ;) so after i told Kel abt it.. he was supposed to meet me earlier if he can.. but he cant.. so i told him the good news over sms... then we said we can start recruiting people to join the item... and guess wat on that sunday itself.. already 4 guys and 4 girls are interested!! SO YAY!! YAY. so above is the two good news!! not exactly COMPLETE good news.. BUT still!! I'm so excited!!! one more thing.... Pastor Patrick wanted to tok to me about something... told me to look for him during sunday's service when the sunday sch kids head downstairs for classes... in case u people dun know.. Pastor Pat is the sunday sch pastor and he takes charge of the children's ministry.. i tot it was regarding VBS (vacation Bible sch commercing 13 june) coz I volunteered to help out.. but wat he toked to me abt wasnt abt of VBS.... it felt like something much bigger... it felt like something tt i've been asking God for since i left the horrible Hougang Care Center at IMH... (rembering i told almost everyone my passion is children and youth) anywayz... he toked to me abt helping out in the sunday as a sunday sch helper. okie... for ur information, i tot sunday sch helpers are like... those that assist the sunday sch teacher during sunday sch class... so i told him abt how i felt... coz max once asked me if i'm interested... but however, there are enuff teachers already... they also dowan too many teachers.. maybe.. the kids will get confused?? no la...just kidding... i mean.. i was interested in working with children all this while... and children ministry is the best place to start dun u tink..? so anywayz... Pastor Pat wasnt refering to just onli those that involves sunday sch on SUNDAYS in and SUNDAYS out onli during church... wat he meant was things like... home visitations (especially during this sch holidays)... counselling... mentoring... u get the idea... MAN... i was like YAY!! so excited!! although he asked me to go back and think abt it.. and pray abt it... i still wanna thank him for the opportunity!! exactly wat i asked for!! to work with children!! thank you BIG DADDY!!!
