and we're back...
at least a couple of us are.. while there are some still enjoying themselves in Tasmania.. and not to forget my baby, enjoying her stay in oh so cool brisbane (and right now she's probably out having GREEK food with Sulin's family after Sulin's Grad. And, lemme take this opportunity to CONGRATULATE Sulin on her graduation!! God bless & guide you with the decisions ahead!! once again, congrats!!) So.. I Arrived back from Melbourne, in HOT Singapore last sunday night at around 9pm. but have been adjusting back to weather. its pretty alright la. so, i guess the question here is.. how was the trip?? i say.. BLoOdY FAaAAnNnnNtAAaASssSStIiIIiiCCccK!!! perhaps not the driving part lah.. coz there were a couple of times i did feel a little sick, but thank God, there wasn't a need for bags like Deborah needed. poor girl, she looked so miserable after practically EVERY drive!! i tried sleeping most of the way that they drove, but UNUSUALLY!!.. YES!!....UNUSUALLY ( ask amy ), i didnt sleep that much while in the car during the trip. in fact AMY was the one sleeping more.. i guess it was perhaps due to what there was to see, not all the way, but parts of it. But i MUST admit, e day i sat in front next to Derek, like Vania said, i concussed.. hahaha.. i knocked out.. only woke up as we were reachin the top of mt buller. THAT is normal.. hahaha as far as PICS are concerned, they are all with AMY. i trust that eventually, when she is in the mood, she will post some of the pics we took. i arrived in Melbourne on Sunday, July 9th @ 5am, ALONE (everybody say "awwwww"). Was an experience for me, coz was in a foreign place all alone and it was my first time being in that sorta situation. U can ask Amy, she knows how scared i was, but thank God, it was fine. Checked into a decent backpackers inn near the Queen Victoria Market and just explored the whole day. There was this band that was performing there, and my oh my, they were aawwweeessoommmee. If i can load the video up from my phone, i will. then later that evening, went to Planetshakers Church which was abt 20mins walk from where i was staying. and yes! i walked 20mins!! but the cool thing abt it is that by e end of the walk, im freezing rather than perspiring! it was an AWWWEESSSOOOMMMEE service! just starting from the prayer meeting before the service to the end of it. My main thing that i liked, was of course, the preaching. Preaching of The Word is THE BIGGEST deal to me. Nothing quite like a preacher who knows His Word & not just surface knowledge. nothing like knowing the DEPTH of it. okok, wont become theological here. but anyway, yea, i didnt get to go for Hillsongs Conference like the rest, but i got to check out the Planetshakers church. wOOooHHHhOOOO!!!! So, the next day, headed out from e place i was staying to Avalon Airport. I tell you, its the saddest facility for an airport. There was this one HUGE building the bus i was on was heading to, and i thought that was it, the terminal.. but just before it could reach, turned another direction and headed to these, small shelters. Really funny. =) so, i was there.. waiting.... waiting... got hungry while waiting so bought this cookie from e vending machine... waited again.. waited.. and FINALLY!! flight from SYDNEY!!!.. and i saw a couple of familiar faces first.. but was lookin out for THAT ONE!! TTHHHAAATT OOONNNEE!! *breaks out into song*.. "and i saw her face!! IM A BELIEVER!!" okok.. CHILL.. but yea.. was so good to see MA BEHBEH!!!hahaha.. in other words.. MY BABY!!!!! that was the beginning of OUR TRIP IN MELBOURNE!! so from Avalon, headed to the place we were staying for the night which was about 3hrs off. Got there, was a real nice place, too bad it was only for one night. following day headed down Great Ocean Road and checked out the 12apostles of which only 7 remain?? i think.. i didnt really count.. was just in awe of God's Majesty. His creation, man... i was just talkin to Amy as we were walkin out to see, we noticed like small balls of dung. my guess it was work of dung beetles, the best i could think of. but anyway, was tellin her, God's fingerprints are all over creation. And something we see SO insignificant, has a purpose in God's BIG picture and shows the splendour of OUR KING in the intricate details of life. (fwah!! tt sounded so chim from me man) anyways.. yeah.. was awesome!! another highlight was MOUNT BULLER!!! unfortunately didnt get to go skiing as my knee was arleady aching from e cold, and since snowboarding requires alot of knee strength, i didnt wanna risk hurting myself. so i just went up anyways. really felt heaps bad for my baby. she was struggling, she was already sick, alot of them were, guess due to e lack of rest. But my baby couldnt breathe in the cold, it was hurting her throat real bad. she actually lost her voice for a couple of days. hahaha.. but tt didnt stop her from talking!! hahaha.. not that i hv a problem with her talkin. but, those few days seeing my baby sick.. was really sad to see her like tt, did improve towards the end.. but still.. my baby.. sick like tt.. **ouuccchh** these were the 2 main highlights, besides the shopping also!! (debbie, are u jealous??) *MWAHAHAHA* i will try (or amy), will get pics up asap. She is having a ball of a time in Brissy!! all the way till aug 5th, when she returns! how cool is that!!! *missing u baby* finally, u know the drill, final para for MY babY!!see! ur para in one of ur fav colours!!! hehehe.. anyways, baby.. this trip was a great one especially coz i had the opportunity to spend it with you! hope it means e same to u as it does to me. great spending all those times just chilling wid u (despite getting scolded by Vania! hahaha) good we got to talk abt.. THAT.. and.. the OTHER thingy.. hahaha.. was great just chit chatting wid u abt stuff in front of the fire during the last few days. and im sorry abt dinner the last night!! hahahah!! yes!! im fickle! not abt u can already!! (YES!! i KNOW!! BETTER NOT BE!!) *smiles* had our lil mild curry moments.. hehehe.. but, aiya.. im STRONG! u ah.. cough cough cough.. hope you're taking care of yourself in Brissy. make sure u get LOADS of rest before u head back to sg k? i thank BIG DADDY for the great time i spent TOGETHER with you in Melbourne.
