I couldnt bear to watch the last 10 mins of the match and also almost the whole 30 mins of extra time. Yesh, I'm toking about the CL semi-final 2nd leg between Liverpool and Chelsea. I'd die of a heart attack...
So I spent the extra time I had standing at the balcony watching the rain pour. I was looking at the trees just beside the swimming pool.. I tot.. If God knows the number of strands of hair on yours and my head, does He also know the number of leaves on every individual trees? Afterall, He's the Lord of all creation. Does he determine how much water flows through the canal in a matter of mins as well?
A song rang in my head. It goes like this, "Who told the sun, where to stand in the morning? and who told the oceans, "You can only come this far" ?" When I first heard this song, I wondered, did that very same God told the oceans to go to a certain height and distance when the tsunamis occurred? Was He teaching us how to be still and know that He is God even when the ocean rise and thunders roar?
I stood there, still looking at the pouring rain, AMAZED... at the work of God's hand and the way God works. I will never be able to comprehend. Coz, I am not God. The way I see things will never be the way He sees it. However, from today on, my prayers for myself, is that I will see things thru God's eyes. It aint easy... But I will try....
